What this website stores in your browser, why, and how to turn it off.

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for a page to work. Others tell the site owner how the site is being used. Related technologies, such as local storage and tracking pixels, do much the same job, and everything on this page applies to them too.
Australia has no cookie banner law. We publish this page because Australian Privacy Principle 1 asks us to be open about how we handle information, and tracking is part of that.
Most of evsupportservices.com.au is plain HTML that sets no cookies at all. Cookies and similar technologies come from three places: our analytics, the services we embed in a page, and the network that delivers the site.
We use Google Analytics 4, property G-ZTGWSK6F0S, on every page. It sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ZTGWSK6F0S, which normally last about two years, and uses them to recognise a returning browser so visits are not counted twice. It tells us which pages are read, roughly where visits come from and what devices are used. It does not tell us who you are, and we do not use it for advertising.
Our contact page embeds a Google map. When that map loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies in your browser under google.com. This only happens on that page.
Our referral page embeds a form provided by Splose, the practice management system we use. The form runs from splose.com and may set its own cookies to keep your place while you fill it in.
Our typefaces are served by Google Fonts. Google Fonts does not set cookies, but Google does receive your IP address when the fonts are requested.
This website is delivered through Cloudflare, which protects it from attacks and makes it load faster. Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie, such as __cf_bm, to tell real visitors from automated traffic. These are strictly functional and cannot be switched off without breaking the site.
The blog section runs on WordPress. It carries the same Google tag as the rest of the site and sets no additional tracking cookies of its own.
We do not run advertising, retargeting or social media tracking pixels. There is no Meta pixel, no Google Ads remarketing tag and no third-party advertising network on this website. We do not sell or share the information our analytics collects.
If we add or remove a service that sets cookies, we update this page and the date at the top. The current version is always the one on this page.
